Ervamatin Hair Oil Is Good Or Not

A slave market in Emirdag

Excellent story , Een visum als bruidsschat [ A visa as dowry ], this Sunday (23/09/2007) on Canvas (VRT - Panorama program) about Weddings summer to Emirdag. This 5-week investigation by Wim Van den Eynde, Jan Puype and Karakaya Sunbul not reflect, unfortunately, the sad reality of conservative attitudes and traditional practices prevail hardly acceptable to European public opinion.

I really loved the scene of the Tuesday market where "Abla", this Gantoise of Turkish descent who speaks fluent Flemish, went to downtown for shopping Emirdag and find also find tips for his future stepdaughter. It's like the slave markets ... because it is a slave trying to import it by marrying his eldest son to a young girl who can not live only with her husband, or work independently. Moreover, it seems that the scene where it shows the luxurious homes of relatives in the village of origin (Demircili) would have been gnashing their teeth the same welfare recipients in Belgium. Another historic moment was the collapse of the survey where you could see that those who could not find shoes to their feet had simply decided to wait until the next "season" ...

The report shows that marriage may actually be getting married that have no time to really know. In this regard, the testimony of the photographer Adem Ugurlu is quite significant: " Often, it is in my studio and the couple meet for the first time alone. Those familiar with at least the name of his partner . Then, if I follow the arguments in the report:

  • girls "European" [Turkish entitled to residence] hope to find a spouse more mature but also more manageable
  • boys 'European' prefer marry a woman "more traditional", more loyal and totally dependent on her husband
  • Emirdag girls seeking a husband "presentable" in public and an opportunity to settle in Belgium in order to come retroactively the rest of the family
  • Emirdag boys do not want to study to win in the end 230 euros per month girls "European" are almost exclusively the only chance for social advancement.
That the candidate (s) to qualify Emirdag Belgium "cash cow" does not shock me so much. As explained elsewhere journalist Cüneyt Kargili in this story, " it makes sense that young people have such a vision of Belgium from the moment they see each summer land of big cars and people who only spend money . "No, what is problematic is the vision of young girls and boys of Turkish origin in Belgium s'autocaricaturent each other (" girls here are too integrated, they go out in dance halls ";" boys only think about playing ). This idea is usually transmitted by parents to facilitate a new marriage "save" a cousin, a cousin of the village origin.

What the report does not show is the great knowledge of the inhabitants of Emirdag on the right of foreigners in European countries. Thus, girls 'Dutch' [Turkish resident in the Netherlands] have fallen out of favor among the candidates since the country requires learning the language before the entry. France and Germany will likely follow the same trend. Belgium remains, for now, the country "easiest" in terms of family reunification.

The negative aspect of reporting is to present the "Turks" in the Flemish public opinion through the prism of Emirdaglois more conservative in matters of morals. This story probably shock the Belgian public opinion as it will shock the public opinion of major Turkish cities (Ankara, Istanbul and Eskisehir). Little exercise illogical syllogism : If all the Turks are Emirdaglois if all Turks are conservative, all Emirdaglois Are Conservatives? If so, then all Turks are Emirdaglois ...
